Perth Overhead Crane Specialists
Crane Inspectors is a Perth owned and operated overhead crane inspection and maintenance business, based in Forrestdale. Our director, Shayne De Beer, has worked on Perth cranes since 2007, beginning with Konecranes. The business came out of a straightforward observation: plenty of businesses were selling crane inspections, but far fewer were arriving with enough hands-on knowledge of how cranes are actually built to tell the difference between wear that matters and wear that doesn't.
What we do differently
Both our inspectors are licensed electricians, and we hold Electrical Contractor Licence EC 16283. An electrical fault found during an inspection is diagnosed and repaired on the same visit, rather than handed to a separate contractor.
Our team
Shayne De Beer, Director | Senior Inspector & Technician, and Jacob Van der Heever, Senior Inspector & Technician. Our inspectors are formally assessed and declared competent for overhead crane inspection under our documented internal competency system, as required by AS 2550.1. We bring in professional engineers and NDT specialists where the job calls for it.
